2001 Dodge Neon SE 2.0 DOHC

Asked by Ozone790 Jun 28, 2018 at 12:08 PM about the 2001 Dodge Neon Highline SE Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Neon only runs for like 5 minutes and then it
quits. Already changed the cam sensor, so that’s
out. Just looking for a second opinion. It starts up
and runs like everything is in working order and then
it quits

Update: Ran some codes and it threw one code. Leak detection pump. The car runs for like a mintute, but stalls out. If I hold the throttle at about 2 grand, it’ll stay running fine. Any ideas? Gonna change the pump and probably the fuel pump as well

Update: It was the crank sensor. It was literally broke inside of the motor. Never threw a code. Car runs fine now. Hope this helps somebody.

Obviously I was wrong about it being a DOHC, it’s only a single. Sorry about that lol
