2016 Dodge Caravan SXT shuttin off intermittently

2016 Dodge Caravan STX shuts off on slowing down or taking an exit off the
highway.  Th van starts up right away.   There are no codes!  Have changed
the coils, spark pugs and the transmission fluid but will drive to see if it helps.  
The van has 124 kms on it.

Took the van to a mechanic yesterday and he thinks its the toque converter
in a locked position?

Need help as I dont want to go down the transmission route
