Local shop, welded joints, header, larger than stock piping (plumbing), high volume muffler. If planning to tow with your 4cyl use a muffler designed for towing to create the proper back pressures, which creates more low end pulling power. But with a tiny bit of power increase and better sound most often does not equate to increases in mpg as to keep the good sound going in your ear and feel the 4 banger rev easier means foot deeper on gas pedal.

Don't count on any mileage increase at all. You may get a small power boost but no fuel economy improvement. Keep it tuned up and the tires inflated. Also never install big tires if you want good fuel economy. Look for tires rated for good economy.

I’ll end up getting new exhaust all together but for now I just want a muffler that isn’t going to make my car crazy loud but a nice quiet rumble sense it’s my family/ work car
