2016 outback oil drain plug torque?
Just snug it up, don't over tighten.
Use a new oil plug gasket if you can. The old ones leak after you reuse them a couple of times.
You're kidding, right? If not, the answer depends upon what kind of gasket you're using (or reusing), as you don't want to overtorque a plastic or fiber one...or even a copper crush. If you've NO gasket or a solid metal one snug it up at least 20 ft-lbs.
I've since learned from Subaru service center that the torque is 30.
30 what? inch pounds or foot pounds...
Ft-lbs. Sounds reasonable, but again is gasket-specific.
thanks. 30 is for the subaru provided crushable gasket.
