How can I stop my outback from chiming when I approach stop signs?
My 2016 outback sounds a chime when I approach a stop sign. How can I turn
Look in the owners manual.
new to me...a "proximity" sensor/alarm....must be a reason for that to be there....perhaps you might review you instruction manual...that would tell us~....if you'd like us to do some research...there has to be a few forums on the subject~ will search fer ya now~!
not as savory...here's a forum on how to disable that~ http://www.thediyguy.net/2014/02/how-to-disable-a-subaru-seat- belt-alarm-chime/
Your car is brand new, why aren't you asking new car dealer you bought from?
...see this is the problem...or one of the problems with new cars...first off the mid-dash display for functions of the car...then statistics, then perhaps a GPS....then perhaps a rear-view camera...is a Disgrace....in my humble opinion....long for the days when people had their eyes on the road...and not divided by a conversation...or MODE and SELECT menu buttons...get the feeling the Robots are secretly taking us over~...ain't but a complaint....sensible design has disappeared in exchange for the latest goodies, while most of us have trouble just avoiding trouble with not as polite drivers~ we are headed in the wrong direction here~
Bob...ur so right! The good old days! Ah just to drive my 65, stickshift, mustang again!
