For informational purposes. I do a five tire rotation every 5K miles. In doing so I inadvertently left the lock on the bumper after finishing and drove off. A replacement device can be purchased from Ford, but with re-keying to the ignition key is cost about 200 bucks. What I did in my circumstance is I measured the hole then purchased an electrical knockoff plug a wee-bit smaller than the hold. You can bent the tabs outward slightly so they grab inside the hold during insertion. Takes a couple of minutes but you can get a tight fit. It easily snaps out when needed using a flathead screwdriver.

Oh, and as of 2012, when I lost mine, there was no plug available from the dealership.
