2016 Porsche Cayenne acceleration and shifting issues

Asked by GXL3 Oct 31, 2018 at 02:04 PM about the 2016 Porsche Cayenne S AWD

Question type: General

This is an answer - not a question. It is both a
software AND a transfer case plus line/connection
to the transfer case issue.
I never left foot/right foot.
I can only hope the replaced transfer case and the
software fixes hold. That combo seems to have
fixed the acceleration problem. (Have driven for
two weeks testing it out since they replaced. Did
have one problem with it shifting back when
deaccelerating after a quick acceleration.
Annoying, but noot as unsafe as the previous
failure to accelerate.

There are no answers allowed here, just questions. So you were actually foolish enough to buy a Cayenne? Just an opinion....
