That's your "check engine" light. Have it scanned for fault codes and have it fixed. Being a 2016 model year, you may have some warranty coverage depending on what's broken. Be ready to have the dealer charge you for a scan....they call it "diagnostics". A auto parts store will scan for free. Write down the codes....a four digit number.

No, there is an Engine shaped light for "Check Engine" purposes. The wrench symbol is your "Service Engine Soon" light, which is not the same. In my Fiesta it has only appeared when the Engine oil interval has expired (but I never wait that long). I usually replace my Synthetic Oil every 5K miles and whenever the wrench appears (as well as a "Change Oil" message on the LCD display). I just park my Car, shut it off, then open the key on the Accessory position and firm press on both the gas and brake pedals for about 10 seconds until the wrench symbol clears up.
