Ignition problem

Back in November, I had a new starter put on my Camaro.  
After I run it for  30 min. or so, the engine will not turn over.  The battery and
alternator tested out fine. When I put the battery on a trickle charger for 10
min., it cranks over like crazy.
I've waited till the engine cooled, thinking that the starter might be getting
hot, but after several hours, still no engine turn over.
My car it basically manual.  It doesn't have air conditioning, a radio, or
anything else electric on it.  
What could be causing this to happen?  Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.
