Can a dealer advertise a car on CarGurus and then increase the price by 6000 dollars when I contact them to buy the car?

Asked by Guru9QQGZ Jul 10, 2017 at 10:57 PM about the 2016 Nissan Maxima SV

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

A nissan Maxima was advertised for 24,725. I sent an email to inquire about the
car. The car dealer sent me a quote on the same car for 30,956.
The dealer never mentioned the advertised price on CarGurus but said this is
the best price for the car. They advertised a lower priced just to get people to
call them.

Print the ad out and take it in or just walk which is what I would do.
