2016 f250 front rotors

Asked by GuruCKP7Q Feb 27, 2019 at 09:54 PM about the 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty Lariat Crew Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

How do I get the front rotors off of my 2016
f250 4x4? I tried beating them and spraying
with WD 40 but they won’t move a bit. They
look to be welded around the hub. The new
rotors I bought are definitely slip on rotors
and every video I’ve seen for my truck the
rotors just fall off. Is there something I’m
missing like bolts or something on the back
of them

The gap around the studs tell me these are removable. I would hit them from the back side while rotating the hub. Eventually the rust will fracture and the rotor disc will come off the hub. They been on there a long time no doubt. Here in rusty Penna, I apply a thin coat of high temp grease where the rotor mates to the hub during assembly so next time they drop off with a few bumps of a hammer.
