If you're still under warranty, get it back to the dealer asap! Since you mention only smelling this odor when the fan is on, I assume you mean the AC blower motor (and not the radiator fan), the source may be from a leaking AC evaporator/cooling coil in the heater box. The heater box contains the heater core and an AC evaporator coil. Air is directed across one or the other depending on what temperature setting you choose (heat or AC). A leaking AC coil can discharge AC refrigerant oil into the box, which then gets blown into the passenger cabin, or even up onto the windshield if you are running the defroster. If the AC coil is leaking, you'll have to take it to an AC shop for a fix, or back to the dealer for a warranty repair if it's covered. Don't waste money on those AC recharge kits, since it'll all just leak back out.
