What guarantee comes with delivered cars?

Question type: General

How do I know the condition of a car when buying from long distance?

The best thing to do when buying long distance is have the vehicle inspected by a professional inspection company. I've used lemonsquad.com with excellent results. Then when you decide to buy and you contract a shipping company for transport the driver will carefully inspect the vehicle, with the seller present. Any dings, scratches, imperfections, etc. will be duly noted on the inspection report before the vehicle is loaded on the car carrier. To avoid damage while in transit use a shipping company that offers an enclosed carrier and insist on a top tier position for your vehicle. A top tier position insures that leaking fluids from other vehicles on the carrier will not drip onto your vehicle and damage your paint. When you receive the vehicle you and the driver will inspect the vehicle before you sign off on receiving the vehicle. Any damage not noted on the original, pick up inspection report, can be claimed against the shipping company's insurance. Hope that helps! Jim
