Question type: General

Under "settings" on the 2016 Mazda CX-5 infotainment center, if you scroll all the way
down there is a setting called "beep." You can turn it on or off. But I can't seem to figure
out what it does. Anybody know?

Thank you Jim and Tom. Navigating through the menu of the infotainment center by using the touchscreen, makes the beeping sound. Switching off the "beep" option turns it off. The reason I couldn't figure it out was because in the CX-5 you can also navigate the menu using the center knob in between the driver and passenger seats, which does not produce the beeping sound. It is only when you touch the screen that it makes the beep sound. In my case, I always use the center knob to navigate and never the touchscreen which is why I never heard the beep sound :)
