Mazda CX-5 or VW Tiguan?

Question type: General

Don't know which to choose from, I like both of them because they are good crossovers
with premium features. VW Tiguan 2015 R-line or Mazda CX-5 grand touring 2016?

VW is a better vehicle and will last for many years. German cars are built stronger and last longer. The Mazda is a nice vehicle but is cheaply built and plastic. The parts and labor for a VW are not going to break the bank. Be sure to find a solid mechanic that will take care of you and be sure to perform regular maintenance checks.

Mazda would be my pick. German vehicles are generally more expensive to repair and maintain. The Mazda should be more reliable.

Mazda CX-5 is by far the better vehicle when it comes to operating costs and reliability. You should check Consumer Reports and see that they recommend the Mazda CX-5 but not the VW Tiguan.
