i did a tune up on my jimmy. put new plugs wires and cap truck is running rough.

Check the wires its easy to accidentally cross them

I'm assuming its a 4.3L The numbers represent the cylinders on each side Passengers side. Driver side 6 5 4. 3 2. 1 Front The distributor being looked at from the front going in a clockwise rotation is numbered 165432 4 5 3 6 2 1

the 4.3's can be picky with plugs. Best with ACDelco. Did you gap the plugs?

Also try resetting the ecm by either pulling the ECM fuse or disconnecting the battery for 15 mins . Then once hooked back up the ECM will re-adjust the timing etc. according to the new parts performance.
