key fob died. i replaced the battery and the car still won’t start
my key fob battery was low for a couple weeks. i
got out of my car and then went to start it later on
tonight and nothing came on. no dome lights/dash
lights/ radio/ doors wouldn’t lock. nothing was
working. i replaced the key fob battery and still
nothing. what do i do?
Try resetting the key fob program.
My 2015 Dodge Challenger RT Plus just did that, had to have the radio frequency module and FOB's replaced because both were dead and not able to communicate with each other. Which caused the car to Not start.
Wyckkedchyk, how much did that cost to replace because I’m having the same issue with my car??
I think Dodge has computer issues. I have 2 chargers 2017 and 2018. fobs all of a sudden started working from 5 feet away (both fobs). The other car, all of a sudden I couldn't get the trunk to open. Button or fob. Had to crawl in through the back seat to open it. The way the problem came is the way it went. It's gotta be a computer lag. My radio kept rebooting. I dowloaded a dodge radio update onto a thumb drive and reflashed the radio. Thank goodness that worked too.
