Any 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan Owners? Foot vent selection issue....normal?

Just got a 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan. The dealer says this is all normal,
but I need another owner to tell me. When I select the Feet vent button on
the dash, it should blow to feet only, but it ALSO blows full to the upper and
side window defroster vents., THE SAME as when I select the defrost
button. No difference between the two buttons. I can't believe this is right.
Also I notice intermittent but frequent engine vibration at idle, hardly
noticeable, but not steady and smooth like I expected. If I look at the
engine I can also see it wiggles a bit now and then. So are these issues
really normal? Thanks

The answer on your vent issue is probably a faulty vent door control valve, or the control switch itself, usually a difficult repair for the control valve is located under the dash and not easily accessible, as for the intermittent vibration, that isn't normal, and could be tune-up or sensor related.

The dealer says the vent is normal, as he tried another car and said it was the same. I doubt it, so I am asking others on here. That said I don't want my new car torn apart. As for the idle he said there were no codes. I do have a reader I bought online and may monitor myself. Probably not bad enough to trip a code anyway.

I would say the dealer probably doesn't know his product very we'll, but, if that is a common issue for this model, it should have a recall bulletin issued, most vehicles vent controls don't operate in this way.
