can it be 1970 torino gt with a 1971 title

Asked by GuruP8HLN Jan 24, 2020 at 05:05 PM about the 1970 Ford Torino GT

Question type: General

So I bought this 71 torino gt 15yrs ago it was pushed into the garage , where it has sat since, just one thing, I started looking at it the other day and relized it has 1970 gt trim, so then I got the title out . first time I ever looked at the vin# and it matches the title witch is original. here is the kicker the title just says 71 torino. so I called my attorney. he said if its original then that's what you go buy. I have heard of stuff like that happening .Ive looked to see if anything has been tampered with and I don't see any visible! but im no expert ,the car has allways been insured though never driven. its just in case something happens to it in the garage !!  Can you tell me if there is a vin # under the driver front fender ? I feel suspicious!!

Maybe just a transitional car between years. Get a Marti report for the low down on your car.
