Just a few minutes if it is cold, otherwise when it is warm outside, you can just go.

Rowefast is correct. Todays cars with low mileage are not prone the restrictions of cars of just a decade or further back. The currant oils in todays vehicles with the new metals and extremely close tolerances of engine construction have for all intent and purposes eliminated the engine warm up. Your owners manual can give you specifics for you vehicle.
