Car oil

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello, so I've never let my oil get this low. On occasion I
change it when needed on time. This time super busy no
time so I let my car get to about 10% oil remaining. I have
an oil change scheduled for tomorrow but until then I've
got a lot of things to get done therefore my car will be
running nonstop until 2 pm for my oil change. Is it bad to
add in some fresh oil tonight? If I'm just gonna get it
changed out tomorrow?

Never gamble more than you can afford to lose .. a quart or two of oil is a small price to pay for insurance

10% remaining does not automatically equal low oil level. Add oil if it is actually more than a 1/2 quart low. Just change your oil every 5,000 miles regardless of the dash gimmick.

My ol is for the first time at 0 percent I was told it dirty and water can I just add couple of cans of knew oil cause I haven't enough money

Don't add oil if the oil level is not low as adding two quarts might ruin your engine. Top it off if the level is low on the dipstick.
