2001 Ford Escape 4x4

When I come to a stop my oil light comes on when I put it
in drive and take off it shuts off and doesn't come back on
oil needs changed I'm just freaking out thinking it's oil
pump just put new trans in don't want to spend anymore
money had a issue few weeks ago of 02 sensor and
check engine light was on had codes scanned and by the
time I got money to buy a new on it went off

16 years old and you let it go low on oil!!! CHANGE IT NOW AND ALSO A NEW FILTER. Oil is probably the most important thing for any engine. Put in high mileage oil and change it every 3000 miles and hope it ends your engine problems for awhile.
