I'm trying to decide between purchasing an escalade or a 5 series....I'm in love with both...but can only get one. Help?

Tom can be an ass. As this is the Bimmer group, we love our vehicles. I guess that it depends on you application purposes. Personally, I love Bimmer sport wagens for their refinement and utilitarian capabilities. Which Escalade are you looking at? The Avalanche, Tahoe or Suburban variant? Parts and service can be a factor for many people. Given GM is chasing BMW's $160/hr., the electronics are what make the Escalade tougher to maintain.
