My BMW 318i E46 2002 model has an oil problem. After doing around 300 miles nonstop it shows the oil sign but there is no leak. What could be the problem? Where does it leak the oil?

The light stays on until I add oil. What I don't understand is how the oil gets depleted without any leakage. Where does the oil leak from then? Kind regards.
