The air conditioner on my new 2105 Grand Cherokee Limited doesn't put out much cool are. Any thoughts on the problem?

Asked by Gladius May 10, 2015 at 03:45 PM about the 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have had a 2015 Grand Cherokee Limited for about 6 mon . and have just started to use
the air conditioner as it is now spring.  When I set it on max. cool, the air is only slightly
cool.  Much less cooler than other cars I have owned.  This my first Jeep, so I don't know
if this is normal or needs fixing.  Any thoughts would help.

It is a software "Known Issue", and jeep does not have a "fix" nor can they tell me when they will have one.... Lousy customer service....

I bought a new 2015 Grand Cherokee Limited and it has had constant a/c and heater problems since new. It has been back to two different dealers numerous times. The last time it was in the shop for three weeks. Finally Chrysler admitted to me it was what they called a design flaw and there was no fix for it. There probably won't be a fix for it in my lifetime. They refuse to make any restitution for their admitted problem. If you have problems like mine you are out of luck. Learn to live with it because Chrysler can't or will not fix it. They will probably get away with this unless it happens to affect someone who is a celebrity or is well connected. The average consumer takes it on the chin again. Thanks Chrysler!!!
