where is the aux. battery located on a 2015 jeep Cherokee located, I know it
has one, as I disconnected the main battery and I still have voltage on the lead

The dealership said it has 2, but didn't have first hand knowledge of where its located, [parts man] I totally removed the main battery under the hood [engine compartment] and still have 12v on the disconneted lead, it's a Cherokee trailhawk, with the start stop feature, and all the electrical goodies, I will go back and ask a service tech. on monday, thanks for your answer
