I'm having the same issue on my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 with 8,125

Asked by Robert Jul 06, 2015 at 09:04 AM about the 2015 Jeep Cherokee Limited 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The check engine light just came on. The wife just had the oil changed and realized they
didn't reset the oil life indicator. We tried this but it wont reset. I'm hoping its not going to
be transmission issues as everyone else is seeing. So far it drives smooth with the
automatic transmission.

Take it back to the dealership. It should be covered under warranty. The check engine light and oil life indicator are two different things. To reset the oil life monitor, key on with the engine off and press the gas pedal all the way down 3 times within 10 seconds.
