2015 Nissan Altima losing power

Asked by Nov 10, 2018 at 12:48 PM about the 2015 Nissan Altima 2.5 S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car is not running right! I seems as if it doesn’t
want to go. I press the gas pedal and it bogeys
down. I just replaced the battery, autozone said
that the battery was bad. When I drove home it is
still bogging down when I press the gas. What
could I be?

Check the idle control valve, mass airflow sensor, and fuel injectors. As they get worse, this will eventually trigger the Check Engine light.

Good luck!! My 2015 Altima looses speed also and has been into the dealer 4 times now, no resolution as of yet. I think this is a HUGE safety issue if your car can’t accelerate in traffic! Nissan HAS to have dealt with this issue before!

I am also having this problem. It almost left me stranded the other night!

Husband had this problem, after 3 goes at the dealer they finally replaced the intake manifold and no problems since *knock wood*.
