2015 Nissan Altima CD player

CD stuck in player can't get out.
Any ideas before replacing

Disconnect the negative battery cable from the batery. Then remove the trim panels to access the player and remove from the dash and take it apart to retrieve the CD. I suspect the mechanism is broken and you will need to replace. eBay has used ones for sale.
