rear backup sensor does not alert the driver

When you put the car in reverse you do not get the backup alert sound

Typically there is a menu setting that will enable or disable the back up alert. Reference the manual for details on how to gain access to the menu and Verify that it is enabled.

I am not hearing the alert sound from the car when approaching close to car where is the switch on the car
