Under the dash by the steering wheel you will see a plug ... that's where they check your emissions by using a plug in meter
I have an emission leak on a 2015 Chevy and impala ltz and I purchased the part but don't know where it goes on the car.
You will have to jack the car up to get at the O2 sensor (if that's what it is) then you need a big wrench to get it out ,, then you need to plug it in to where the old one was

The biggest leak is at the pipe at the rear end of the car.
