1998 jimmy rwd v6 SLE engine overheats and heater doesn't work. Replaced radiator, thermostat, no liquid in oil, problem ranges from heater working intermittently to engine over heating.

Sounds like the cooling system needs to be purged from air pockets. Did you purge the cooling system?
