Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm planning on buying a 2015 Lexus RX 350 AWD at about 67,000 miles already on it.  It's one owner and no accidents.  Should i be worried?  The price is a good deal too.

As with any used car take it to a shop that does used car checks, it is money well spent and can keep you from buying someone's problem. Mileage is high for the year, are the maintenance records available? If so have they been done on time and fully completed. Some things you can check yourself is do all the tires match, same size and make, very critical on these as you can really mess up the transfer case if the tires are mismatched, all lights, all the accessories, wipers, washers, radio, heat, AC, etc. if it checks out, and at a good price then go for it, they are good vehicles, we owned a 300 that gave its all and saved my wife's life when a guy crossed the center line and hit her head on, now she was injured but if it hadn't been the vehicle it was, she most likely would not have survived.

Thank you. That was very useful info. The car is less than $28,000 with a premium NAV package.

If it checks out it should make you a very dependable car for years to come.

Just be sure you can afford the maintenance and upkeep. Mine requires premium gas, tires are $250 each and I have yet to spend less than $300 in maintenance. Hopefully the newer versions don't have major issues like my 2007 which was 6 years old when I got it. I have replaced oil cooler hose at my expense, ignition coils, rack & pinion and now the dealer says I need to replace my engine. It was good while it lasted.
