how many miles does a chevy colorado last?
If property maintained, and you change your oil every 6,000 miles...don't overload it and put a strain on the engine you should get at least 200,000 miles....
Just my 2 cents worth --- if you want to get 200k miles out of it change the oil more often.
We used to use these as delivery trucks at the NAPA where I work. They all went to well over 200,000 miles no problem. All but one, a 2005 model, got totaled which was why we had to replace them. Only the '05 died of natural causes. It had around 270,000 miles on it and it needed a catalytic converter, about 2 months after the fuel pump quit. After the fuel pump, they weren't going to put any more money in it. They actually sold it, once the inspection sticker expired, in 2013, to an employee from another store for $50 (not a typo). Not sure if he's still driving it. But I know he was for awhile. They're very safe trucks too! One of our guys got hit head on at 50 MPH. He was a little banged up but he walked away from the accident. The truck was totaled. It was a 2004 model. HTH. -Jim
My 2005 has 289,450 miles and still running I use it everyday and original motor and transmission. I never changed the transmission fluid either.
It will last lot more than 200,000 miles mine is not been a hundred percent properly kept I work out of it and I have 364,000 on the dash
215k on mine runs good.
404,000 miles and still runs smoothly with no problems....
