why wont my tuck crank

my tuck had been cranking ,turning over real slow.i changed plugs and it crunk
but my idle went to 3000 rpms after a minute it went to normal.i drove 5 miles
and truck bogged down went dead. when i tried re crank the motor spun over
real fast as if just starter was only thing turning.also i had noticed water leak at
water pump, but i never ran hot.
