I have a 2005 1.7L civic coupe is there any simple things i can do to get better response and a little more power?

advance your timing, be cautious with this however, if you advance it to much you risk damaging your motor. get a throttle body spacer. more flow. make sure not to much flow on the exhaust or you will lose power from no back pressure. adjust valve gap to let more air and fuel into the engine. new spark plugs and wires.
