Display MPG for total miles driven

Hello,
I can only display and track MPG for a selected trip mileage.  I would like to display MPG for total miles driven since purchasing my car.  Can someone tell me how to do this.

Bob, do what I did with my new 2013 Prius 2. For the first 26000 miles I kept every gas ticket and miles driven written in a log book and my MPGs were 58. After that I swapped cars with my wife who at that time was in a 2008 and I did not try to keep up with the mpgs because it had showed me what it could do. Also on the 2008 for a steady month on 5 tanks of gas running 500 to 600 miles per week it averaged 60 mpg!!! To answer your question about a way to show the total mpgs since you got the car I have not heard of a way other than how I did my 2013 for the first 6 months I had the car!
