Security indicator on, car won't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I stopped my car to listen to the news. Tried to restart 5 minutes later and it
wouldn't. Used secondary key...won't start. Tried 3rd spare key, won't start.
Makes angry noise like I am trying to start an already running car. Have regular
keys, not fob. Reset? Alternatory? Starter? Battery is fine. Lots of gas.

If you're hearing a grinding noise when you turn the key the starter is not fully engaging. Probably time for a new starter. Hope that helps! Jim
