if i wanted to use the key that is inside the keyfob where would i insert it in the
car...i don't see anywhere to stick it...

The only place would be the driver's door. There may be a cover over the key hole on the drivers door. There is no place to use the key to start the engine.

The owners manual explains it. Check the drivers door for the key hole. This key is only for opening the door, you can't start the car with it.
