i tried to jump my truck by using the fuse box negative and positive leads, and now my truck has all things inside of the truck, horn, dash lights, radio, etc., working but no start, no crank, no nois

thinking the cables weren't making good connection with side- post battery, the rubber on the pos. post i found that the red lead led to that box and i said, " i'll hook it up here, and now the car won't even say a sound, it has to be a circuit protector, type of issue, i deal with power boxes in the house a little and it's kinda like if you have too much current in one plug, it overloads it..
