My 2002 mustang wont start

My 2002 mustang wont turn start the lights show
and it clicks whn you turn the key but it cuts off I
gave it a jump start nd it ran for alittle, after tht it
cut off, i tyed to start it again the lights showed but
now it just clicks once thn shuts off   i bought a
new battery cause the battery was bad but still
nothing

Maybe try changing the ignition module or go get it tested before buying a new one

I took out my steering column from 02 mustang gt to replace the heater core. I put the same column back in and the key turns in the ignition but nothing happens
