2014 Nissan Altima S, 74,000 miles. Total Transmission Failure. Cost to repair, $4,650. No engine warning lights, no performance issues and the diagnostic did not show any trouble codes. I put the care in reverse on March 28, 2017 the car shuddered and died. Has anyone else experienced this?
You have the infamous CVT piece of sh!t. I would take it straight to a Nissan dealer and complain. Nissan has extended the warranty on a lot of their cars due to this transmission. Maybe they will help you out.
Nissan extended the CVT warranty to 100,000 miles up to the year 2010 ----- http://www.nissanassist.com/faqs.php?menu=3
same problem on 2013 Nissan Altima. At 75,000 miles, so not covered under drive train warranty.
