Asked by Kdaily Oct 12, 2018 at 10:21 AM about the 2003 GMC Envoy 4 Dr SLE 4WD SUV

Question type: General

For the last few weeks now I
have had to jump my Envoy
off and on a few times I've
had it all tested and the
battery and alternator is good
I get a jump it will run great
for a bit or even a day or two,
then wont start again. It still
seems that something is
drawing from it when
everything is off. Any ideas

Need to have a parasitic draw test done to find the energy leak. It could STILL very well be your alternator. Alternators can be bad, yet test OK. If diodes are bad in it, dc volts/amps can leak out, draining your battery. But a parasitic draw test will narrow down what the culprit is.
