Where is the central ground point for the tail lights fuel pump Etc

Asked by Dpdodge Apr 26, 2018 at 03:25 PM about the 2014 RAM 2500 SLT Crew Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Nothing on the rear of the truck is
grounded. I plug the trailer in and
blew a fuse, replaced it. Now I have
no ground at the rear tail lights or
the fuel pump. Truck will only start
if I run an independent ground wire
to the body.

As far as a chassis ground, a redundant ground will work fine. Just make it permanent. I don't know the factory chassis ground point for those components? Have you ever looked at dodge upfitter? Try it and see. Try ramtrucks.com it's a body builders link, look at the wiring info, I saw one link for ground wiring.
