I have a 2003 also. Had to replace the whole tank. As it is a 26 gallon tank it was difficult to find, or so the mechanic shop said. A little googling later and we found one at a part supply place and less expensive too. Shop out it on and no issues since. A key tell for me was the gas pump clicking off way early Whalen getting gas, due to incorrect pressure in the tank
