I was driven my 200w ford escort se and it just
dies and won't start the started kicked in and it
won't turn over could it be the fly wheel because it
made a noise before it died

That would be the thing to do, is drop the starter, have it checked out, and inspect the ring gear on the flywheel. Flywheel should be checked for cracks also while looking at it.

i replaced all that and it still wont start. i cant even push start it. it been doing it since i flushed radiator and refilled it. also the battery is getting drained and it is a brand new battery.

The car ran for 5_10 minutes. After the belt frayed and spung around the crank shaft pulley. Until it snapped.

i have a 99 ford escort lx 5 speed new tranny and clutch. the other day i was going up the hill started to chug like i was in to high of a gear, stuck it in first still contiuned pulled over turned it off now it wont start it cranks tho, I checked everything it is getting spark and fuel. and all fuses are good. anyone have a clue? 1 Answer

battery is good i also tried jumping and popping the clutch, when i try starting it just keeps cranking
