2014 Chrysler Town and Country REar liftgate light

Asked by steamboatvan2014 Feb 16, 2017 at 12:29 PM about the 2014 Chrysler Town & Country Touring FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2014 Town and Country says the rear liftgate is open, but it is not. I have
replaced the Liftgate-Lock Actuator, but this has not fixed the problem. The
main issue, is on the drivers screen where it displays the mileage digitally,
when the lights come on at night, this screen goes black because it thinks
the door is open. It also makes the running interior lights come on, I know I
can turn those off manually, but the mileage screen still goes off. Any ideas
on how to reset this? Or any advice to look into?
