Car stalls when foot comes off gas pedal

My 2002 Ford escort zx2 will start and drive
but Everytime I take my foot off the gas it
stalls out. Any idea what that could be?

idle air control valve ? clean the port too , spray some carb cleaner down the throttle . look for loose/ broken vacuum lines
