You need tio see Ford Mechanic for service the Controller cost $39.98 but intsllation/replacements/ time will comes to $100.00 as max. There is no handy man job to fix because Ford have many Crise controller models and need to match the one exacly as was done on assembly line at the Factory.. This Cruise Controller often goin down in effect bad contacts in the electrical system which cause the Killer Spike to generate and burn the controller. So snince all replaced and works well keep eyes on good isolation and cotacts to avoid any sparks etc which generate the high voltage powerfull Spike.

Is there a fuse for a 2001 Ford Escort for cruise controll, and where a # if you have thanks
