2014 chevy captiva LT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My engine just did not start one day ,towed to mechanic and they said no
compression I need a new engine ,I towed it home and started trouble
shooting and found all rocker arms busted on intake side due to low oil and
lack of internal maintenance at given mileage .With rocker arms busted and
no real damage in top inside of engine  I replaced rocker arms and still no
compression on all cylinders. I think i can fix it with new timing chain and
sprocket kit ? What do you think ? How can I check the valves with out taking
head off  ? I know a part of compression test is telling of bad valves but if  no
compression due to sprocket out of time ? I am rambling give some input
